THE ROLE
We are recruiting a Business Development Manager – Water Management & Aftermarket, responsible for driving growth in warranty, spare parts, and service contracts across Romania, Hungary, and the Balkans.
This role is central to building a dealer and service partner network specialized in aftermarket sales and customer support. Reporting to senior regional leadership, the BDM will design and execute strategies to increase recurring revenue streams from parts and services, secure long-term client loyalty, and ensure the highest level of product lifecycle support.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with technical understanding, ideally in water management, capital equipment, or industrial systems, and will thrive in a field-driven role that balances strategy with operational execution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an aftermarket business plan focused on warranty, spare parts, and service contracts
- Identify, onboard, and manage specialized dealers and service partners across the region
- Drive sales of spare parts, retrofits, and upgrades, ensuring sustained revenue and customer loyalty
- Establish standardized warranty and service processes with dealers and partners
- Train and support dealer teams to strengthen their technical and commercial capabilities
- Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to warranty terms
- Represent the company at aftermarket-focused events, trade fairs, and with key stakeholders
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for a commercially oriented professional with strong knowledge of aftermarket sales and service networks.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B aftermarket sales, parts distribution, or service development (industrial equipment, water management, automotive or related sectors)
- Proven success in building and managing dealer/service partner networks
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, able to secure long-term contracts
- Technical foundation (mechanical, hydraulics, or related engineering) is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial mindset, independent working style, and ability to deliver measurable results
- Fluent in Romanian and English; other regional languages are an asset
- Willingness to travel extensively within Romania, Hungary, and the Balkans
