PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Our client is the world leader in the building materials production with presence in 70 countries with more than 167.000 employees. In Romania there are more than 1800 employees, having multiple production sites across Romania and an extended commercial department, with office in Bucharest.
THE ROLE
We look for a Payroll Specialist who will join our client’s HR Shared Services Centre team that provides a wide range of Payroll & HR services to the local businesses.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for payroll calculation end-to-end process (data verification & imports, financial reporting, salary payments, D112 Salary Statements etc.).
- Ensuring post payroll activities (financial reporting, payments file to bank, salary statement issuing and verification).
- Preparing and providing ad hoc reports required by the management.
- Act as a point of contact between the company and the employee benefits providers.
- Supporting employees in specific situations related to contract management, issuing of employee different statements.
- Management of the Organizational Chart in the internal HR Administration soft (position/units creation/updates).
- Assisting local businesses with the implementation of programs, policies, and services provided by the HR Shared Service Center.
- Ensuring legal and internal regulations compliance for the HR processes under own responsibility.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate must:
- Be experienced in Payroll & HRIS systems with previous activity in a multinational environment, in companies with ~600 employees, understanding the requirements of a fast-growing company
- Analytical thinking and attention to details
- Very good level of knowledge of Romanian labor legislation
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral with professional level of English language
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse teams
- Ambitious, proactive, “can do” attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Energetic and hands on person with customer orientation
- Experience in working with DP Payroll and/or TrueHR applications of UCMS is an advantage
