FRONTEND DEVELOPER – REMOTE
Our client is a start-up company built by seasoned, highly experienced experts in software development, DevOps, and product architecture with wide experience in Western Europe in building reliable, scalable applications for complex and high-speed environments.
Because the company is scaling up very fast, we support them in building up their software development team who will work completely remote, from anywhere in Europe.
As a Frontend Developer, you’ll be part of a special team that builds Software solutions currently for: Cyber security (risk detection, big data analysis, big data visualization and risk correlation), Cloud platform (hybrid, multi-location cloud platform) and Hybrid application management (cross-platform / cross cloud application management and application configuration management).
Techstack: Linux, using CI/CD for automated testing and building with code deployed on both premises or cloud, modular, microservices oriented architecture, JAVASCRIPT with REACT, NodeJS, VUEJS and AngularJS frameworks; HTML5, CSS3; BOOTSTRAP and FLEXBOX UI frameworks; SQL and NoSQL databases; IDE: freedom of choice, with a preference for using VSCode and IntelliJ solutions; Version Control: Git; Testing frameworks: automated test cases execution; Project Management: Jira for tickets, Confluence for documentation.
About this ROLE
YOU will develop autonomously complex UIs/SPAs components in a modular-driven fashion
YOU will work with other resources on a complex project, conducting autonomously complex development tasks and define software requirements and, of course, write clean and industry-standard code
YOU will work largely independently and will be responsible for the whole range of activities when implementing a new feature. You should be able to look at a problem from the user’s perspective and discuss abstract concepts with fellow developers. We expect each of our developers to do architecture, design, implementation, customer feedback and bug fixing, rather than splitting these activities between several people. We thus put everyone in control of their own work.
About YOU
Do you believe in beauty when it comes to programming? Do you have a vivid interest in elegant algorithms? Are you strong in JAVASCRIPT and HTML? Do you have experience in frontend design and development in a modular-driven fashion?
If so, check the requirements and let’s meet:
- at least one or more years of experience in the field of frontend design & development
- at least one or more years of experience in React
- knowledge of React insights, mechanisms, and latest features (hooks, functional components, etc.)
- knowledge of versioning systems (Git)
- knowledge of NodeJS and package managers (yarn, npm, npx)
- knowledge of layout design & frameworks (Bootstrap, Flexbox) is a (strong) plus
- knowledge of security concepts and modern intra-domain authentication protocols (JWT, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, session-protected resources)
- knowledge and experience in choosing and using visualization plugins (data visualization, charts, utility plugins)
- be able to discuss and define requirements along with backend engineers
- experience with other UI frameworks (AngularJS, Vue) is a plus
- experience of React Native and mobile development is a plus
- experience in designing UI/UX is a (strong) plus
- experience in testing frameworks – unit, e2e and virtual-browser testing is a (strong) plus
- Linux know-how is a plus
- good level of English, spoken and written
